I have been a massive Chelsea fan ever since I started playing football back when I was six
years old. I discovered the team through my football coach who was a fan of them, thanks to
an African player named Didier Drogba. I saw their latest football kit for this season and I
really loved the holographic effect on their badge and did my best to replicate that on the
boots themselves.
I modeled the boots on Blender. This was also the first time I modeled shoes and I found it
challenging for me, especially the bottom part of the shoes. I learned a lot from it and the
next time I’ll model soccer boots, I’ll approach it differently. Outside of that, the modeling
process was a breeze and somewhat therapeutic for me.
The graphic poster itself was a joy to do as well, and I used both Photoshop and Illustrator,
some of the design assets were created in Illustrator and the rest was assembled on
Photoshop. I took a lot of inspiration from Nike and Adidas shoe posters as a common visual
pattern was its simple and flat approach
